Do you understand what goes into a holiday booking, from the travel arrangements and accommodation to the extras that complete the trip?

Have you gained experience within a tour operator and found yourself interested in how the systems and processes behind the bookings work?

Are you the person who spots an incorrect detail, asks why something doesn’t match and keeps checking until it makes sense?

▌ Our Customer

Our customer is an established tailor-made tour operator looking for a curious, organised individual to support improvements to its booking systems and internal processes.

– Support the checking and preparation of customer, product and booking data

– Create useful guides and support information, and keep project records and progress trackers up to date

▌ Experience Required

– A degree in a relevant subject, such as travel and tourism, business management or information systems
– Around one to two years’ experience working within a tour operator

– Experience handling booking information and maintaining accurate customer, product or operational records
– Strong attention to detail, with a methodical approach to checking information and identifying discrepancies
– Confidence using Excel to organise, compare and check information, with a willingness to develop skills in lookups, pivot tables and data validation
– Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain a query or problem accurately
