Her career in leisure travel began in events and incentive travel, where she developed strong client relationship skills and a deep understanding of how high-end travel experiences are designed and delivered. She then joined Thompsons Africa as a Senior Travel Consultant and Africa Specialist, where she spent years creating bespoke safari and Africa travel itineraries for discerning clients, building the destination knowledge, product understanding, and commercial instinct that sets her apart as a recruiter in this space.

That first-hand experience of working inside a specialist Africa travel operator is rare in recruitment, and it gives Tessa a genuine advantage.
